We currently have career opportunities for Electrical Engineer and Electrical Technician.

Title: Project Engineer, reporting to the President of the Company.


The candidate must be capable of designing new and modifying and improving existing product and electrical controls designs. Applicant will serve as a knowledge resource for electrical, electronics, and other engineering disciplines. Prepare using AutoCAD Electrical schematics drawings, wiring diagrams, circuit layouts, and detailed assembly drawings. Develop, test, implement and debug PLC and visualization programs. Prepare bills of materials, engineering specifications, and customer submittals. Must be able to interface directly with manufacturing shop employees to provide engineering and technical support to clarify questions on drawings and designs and assists with troubleshooting. The candidate will direct project workloads for drafters, designers, and engineers as appropriate.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  1. Work with customers before sale to qualify feasibility, define project scope, establish plan, estimate cost, and prepare and present written proposal.
  2. Work with company management to allocate resources necessary for project completion.
  3. Coordinate execution of project plan.
  4. Complete projects according to plan, within budget.
  5. Keep Company management apprised of progress on projects and other key matters.
  6. Maintain positive contact with customers before, during, and after project.
  7. Other duties as assigned by the President of the Company.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent discipline plus 8 years related experience.
  • Working knowledge of standard drafting practices and engineering analysis techniques.
  • Low and high voltage DC and AC circuit designs are also required.
  • Knowledge of power electronics, integrated circuit design, control system design, and programming a plus.
  • Prefer experience with Rockwell Control Systems.
  • Working knowledge of various drives, motors, servos and sensors.
  • Familiarity with quality-related best practices also a plus.

Title: Electrical Technician


The main responsibilities include the following and are not limited to the items listed because as the employee’s skills increase, so do the opportunities.


  1. Read electrical schematics and understand electrical circuitry to build electrical panels.
  2. Layout control panels according to approved drawing.
  3. Assemble control components onto panel using common fasteners, rails, and assembly aids.
  4. Interconnect control components with appropriate wire types, gauges, and colors called on approved wiring diagram.
  5. Install and interconnect control panels with field devices on machinery.
  6. Troubleshoot and function test electrical panels and machines.
  7. Set up parameters on VFDs, soft starters and other electronics.
  8. Occasionally projects demand work at customer shop.
  9. Work with AutoCAD Electrical software to layout and design controls for industrial machines and processes.


  • Minimum of two years of related work experience required.
  • Familiarity with UL508A and NEC required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is desired.
  • AutoCAD experience is desired.
  • Work safely and efficiently with a variety of common power and hand tools.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Good work attitude.

This position reports directly to the president of the Company.

The position is a full time nonexempt position. Travel outside of the Milwaukee Metro area is possible, but minimal (less than 5%).
